Full Launch Aims for Q1 2026
The current plan is to release a new version sometime for Q1 2026. While no specific date is locked in, the window gives the team time to polish the experience and flesh out systems that still feel early-stage.
That full release is expected to introduce new storytelling elements and game mechanics that move Bootstrap Island beyond its sandbox roots. Right now, it’s a straightforward survival sim: craft weapons, manage resources, stay alive. The final version will aim to expand on that with more structure.
